Charming Stay Near the Cathedral

convenient location friendly staff refitted bathroom
The location was very convenient, our choir was singing at the cathedral. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was punctual at 8am. I paid extra for the cooked breakfast. It was worth it. The refitted bathroom included a good-size bath.
The lock on the fire exit was broken. It allowed access from the street at all times. Our bedroom was also right next door to this exit.
Service
9/10
The staff displayed excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They addressed all requests promptly and with a courteous attitude. This.
Dining
9/10
The full English breakfast featured locally sourced produce and was cooked perfectly. The prompt service at 8 am allowed us to stick to our schedule. I was grateful for this.
Rooms
8/10
The room was clean and included a very comfortable bed. Plenty of towels were available in the modern ensuite. This provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Location
10/10
The hotel is located very close to the cathedral. This made it easy for us to attend rehearsals. A car park directly opposite offers convenience. I found the price reasonable, though the parking was expensive.

Charming and Convenient Stay

dog-friendly hotel friendly staff nice breakfast
The hotel is dog-friendly. This aspect was good. The staff were naturally friendly and also professional. The continental breakfast provided was more than adequate and quite nice. It included plates and cutlery.
I noticed the bathroom floor was sticky. This detracted from the overall cleanliness. Some small improvements in maintenance could improve the experience.
